Quarantine Days

May 11, 2020

Quarantine days is a photography project initiated during the social distancing exercise that came into affect due to Covid-19 pandemic. When social distancing and places of work were shut down due to the pandemic, we found ourselves stuck working/living/doing everything from our bedroom apartment.

We both chose to work from the living room due to the great natural light that this room offers. I chose the kitchen table, whereas my partner chose his favourite part of the sofa to work/live from. We go by our daily routines barely talking due to the work load and online meetings. We found this a relatively easy transition since we are lucky to get on as a couple.

The following is a photography project showcasing my partner during various times of the day stuck on this sofa. Sometimes the cat makes an appearance - even he took a while to adjust having us 24/7 at home.

Check out the project’s progress here: Quarantine Days

PS: No cat was/will be hurt during this project.
